Neela’s life statement is “Be happy, keep exploring, constantly learn and spread happiness.” She strongly believes in this statement and has been a part and also lead many initiatives in her college or state while fulfilling her role as an educator.

Post her retirement, Neela has been a varied traveller, having visited more than 40 countries around the world, a yoga enthusiast, marathon runner, trekker, translator and her new found love ‘podcasting’

Being a voracious reader, Neela realised that there are a gem of literary authors who needs more exposure and who's work needs to be more out in the open. That’s when she tested with podcasting.

That is how ‘Vachuanande’ a Marathi podcast happened. This is Neela’s sincere effort to bring the stories of these authors to a wider audience.
